YOUR EMAIL PASSWORDS
To protect our customers and our services
You will be required to have a non weak password for remote access to your email.
Your password should contain at least 6 characters long with 1 number and
1 symbol or 1 uppercase letter.
An example of a weak password, bettyboop
An example of a stronger password, b3ttyB0op
Simple passwords will result in denial to your email address from anywhere that is NOT
allowed by the Fibernet network. If your password is strong enough you will be able to
access your email remotely.
If you use Wirefire dialup or DSL this will not affect you. Even if you have too weak
of a password. If your password is strong enough you will be able to access your email remotely.
Having such measures in place will help alleviate attempts for someone to try and
gain access to your emails without your authorization.
Remember Wirefire will NEVER ask for your login credentials in an email.
Thank you for your support,
Wirefire Staff. |
